Background
Perhaps you were there for the first Ranchoree in 2005 when the three districts came together to have a memorable event on the shores of the mighty Kyte River at the TFC ranch. It was the perfect size for a strong event but still had plenty of elbow room for wilderness camping. The program was jammed packed from Friday evening through Sunday noon with 28 activity areas running at once on Saturday. Not only that, but there were the midnight star hikes, our 250-person extreme moonlight tug-of war, Tim Ford and Cowboy Bob's satellite spotted 40 foot campfire, the elite golden skillet cooking competition, camp-wide cracker barrel, the University of Camperology, the camping Tri-athalon, and more. With outstanding attendance, a great time was had by all. We're doing it again! Boy Scouts and Venture Crews, sign up now for Ranchoree.
We need help of all types to have another strong program. Please volunteer today! To volunteer contact Tim Ford at tmfo...@aol.com (630-782-5411) or Fred Turek at tur...@ameritech.net (630-717-0437)
